Sofia Vergara, the Colombian-born actress and model, has put her Italian-style villa in Beverly Hills up for sale once again, but this time at a significantly reduced price.
The sprawling half-acre property, which first hit the market with a price tag of nearly US$20 million, is now listed for just under US$18 million.
Vergara, best known for her role as Gloria on the hit TV series Modern Family, and her husband, actor Joe Manganiello of True Blood fame, purchased the home over nine years ago for a price slightly lower than the current asking price.
However, they have since extensively renovated the premises in collaboration with renowned Los Angeles-based designer Jennifer Bevan.
Tucked away behind secure walls, gates, and towering hedges, the elegant villa features a creamy stucco and terracotta-roofed exterior.
