After recently stating they would never sell, Adam Levine and his supermodel wife Behati Prinsloo have listed their luxury LA compound for US$57.5 million.
According to The Dirt, the couple purchased the three acre ranch-style estate from Ben Affleck and Jenifer Garner and have listed the property for US$25 million more than they paid for it.
The rocker and his wife did undertake an extensive renovation of the interior of the property as well as sprucing up the grounds.
The estate includes three structures including the main house and a four-bedroom guesthouse with a full kitchen and living/dining areas, plus a separate yoga room or office and a gym.
In total there are 10 bedrooms and 14 baths in approximately 1486sq m of living space.
The main house features 836sq m of contemporary living space with plaster walls, natural light wood floors and high ceilings.
Some of the luxury amenities include a Dolby Digital movie theatre/arcade, a private gym and a family room with wet bar.Â
The property has stunning views from downtown LA to the ocean, as well as a spacious fireside living room with French doors and a formal dining room boasting a fireplace flanked by built-in shelves.
The gourmet kitchen includes a walk-in refrigerator and spacious eat-in island that connects to a separate dining area and built-in buffet.
The master retreat boasts dual showroom-style closets, and a stone-clad bath equipped with dual vanities, a sauna, and wet room holding a soaking tub and shower.
The grounds feature grassy lawns with numerous walking paths as well as a platform for enjoying the views. There’s a resort-like pool and spa, sunken conversation pit built around a fire pit and a basketball court.
The property was built in the 1930s and its previous owners include Gregory Peck and producer Brian Grazer, who sold the property to Affleck and Garner for US$17.5 million in 2009.
