Melbourne-based PropTech Rental Heroes launched in January 2020 and already has more than 50,000 tenants across Australia who are subscribed to its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot.
Rental Heroes Management AI recently announced the appointment of Leanne Sorby as national sales manager as they continue to expand their team.

Rental Heroes chatbot ‘Alex’ leverages AI to communicate directly with tenants to handle their everyday requests and issues, instead of emails and calls.
They integrate with property management CRMs and maintenance systems so that the data collected during ‘tenant chats’ is recorded seamlessly for the property manager.

Ms Sorby’s real estate career spans 18 years, working in sales and property management for agencies in Auckland, London and Sydney.
She made the transition into PropTech seven years ago, previously working for Agentbox, MRI Software and Movinghub.
“Our property managers love the time-saving benefits,” Ms Sorby said.
“Around half of tenant requests are now 100 per cent automated by Alex – meaning no property manager involvement required.”
Tenants can initiate a request using Alex via their Facebook Messenger. There are no apps to download or separate portals to log into, which drives tenant adoption.
Tenants then get the chance to rate their experience, with more than 82 per cent saying they found it better than phone or email.
