Just 100 days into his journey with the AgentsโAgency, Ben Stephens has his sights set on growth, with a new office space soon to open and plans to establish a property management division in addition to bringing on extra sales agents.
Ben opened Stephens Estate Agents in late January this year, creating a boutique brand dedicated to servicing the southern Gold Coast and northern New South Wales regions.
The move capitalised on his two decades of experience in the industry, including building his own brand in the past.
This time around, however, Ben was keen to embrace the support of a national network, and has been impressed with the training, administration support and mentoring available.
โThereโs an incredibly high level of support at the AgentsโAgency,โ he says.
โFrom weekly training sessions to a resource library thatโs phenomenal, thereโs so much on the menu to pick from.โ
Initially Ben was working from home, but with two young children and listings coming in thick and fast, he says the next logical move was to open his own office.
โIt was a bit of a challenge working from home with the kids, so now weโre opening an office with a meeting room for clients, enough room for staff and weโre looking for additional agents, along with property managers.โ
Ben concedes he hadnโt expected to make the move so fast, but notes the backing of the AgentsโAgency has allowed him to take the leap with confidence.
โWe wouldnโt be able to do what weโre doing without the infrastructure thatโs in place with the AgentsโAgency,โ he says.
โQuite honestly, I wouldnโt have had time to make money and put staff on at the same time but with the AgentsโAgency, I havenโt had to build anything.
โThey have the systems, procedures and technology in place that allows me to scale up quickly.โ
Reflecting on the past couple of months, Ben says since joining the AgentsโAgency he hasnโt looked back and his results are testament to this sentiment.
He recently set a suburb benchmark for a one-bedroom Palm Beach unit, which sold for $93,000 above the previous record, while there have also been records set in building sales.
Meanwhile, he says locals are loving the level of real estate service on offer with his brand.
And Ben notes thatโs just the beginning, with the opening of his office heralding a new and exciting era.
โIโve got a few in the background coming on but now we have an office, Iโm really looking forward to putting my foot down,โ he says.
