Ben Stephens has his eyes firmly on growth

Just 100 days into his journey with the Agentsโ€™Agency, Ben Stephens has his sights set on growth, with a new office space soon to open and plans to establish a property management division in addition to bringing on extra sales agents.

Ben opened Stephens Estate Agents in late January this year, creating a boutique brand dedicated to servicing the southern Gold Coast and northern New South Wales regions.

The move capitalised on his two decades of experience in the industry, including building his own brand in the past.

This time around, however, Ben was keen to embrace the support of a national network, and has been impressed with the training, administration support and mentoring available.

โ€œThereโ€™s an incredibly high level of support at the Agentsโ€™Agency,โ€ he says.

โ€œFrom weekly training sessions to a resource library thatโ€™s phenomenal, thereโ€™s so much on the menu to pick from.โ€

Initially Ben was working from home, but with two young children and listings coming in thick and fast, he says the next logical move was to open his own office.

โ€œIt was a bit of a challenge working from home with the kids, so now weโ€™re opening an office with a meeting room for clients, enough room for staff and weโ€™re looking for additional agents, along with property managers.โ€

Ben concedes he hadnโ€™t expected to make the move so fast, but notes the backing of the Agentsโ€™Agency has allowed him to take the leap with confidence.

โ€œWe wouldnโ€™t be able to do what weโ€™re doing without the infrastructure thatโ€™s in place with the Agentsโ€™Agency,โ€ he says.

โ€œQuite honestly, I wouldnโ€™t have had time to make money and put staff on at the same time but with the Agentsโ€™Agency, I havenโ€™t had to build anything.

โ€œThey have the systems, procedures and technology in place that allows me to scale up quickly.โ€

Reflecting on the past couple of months, Ben says since joining the Agentsโ€™Agency he hasnโ€™t looked back and his results are testament to this sentiment.

He recently set a suburb benchmark for a one-bedroom Palm Beach unit, which sold for $93,000 above the previous record, while there have also been records set in building sales.

Meanwhile, he says locals are loving the level of real estate service on offer with his brand.

And Ben notes thatโ€™s just the beginning, with the opening of his office heralding a new and exciting era.

โ€œIโ€™ve got a few in the background coming on but now we have an office, Iโ€™m really looking forward to putting my foot down,โ€ he says.

โ€œItโ€™s all possible because I have the backing, tools and advice of the Agentsโ€™Agency that I can tap into so I can build something with confidence.โ€
