BresicWhitney cements Lower North Shore presence with new Mosman office

The bespoke office will be located in the ANZAC Memorial Hall and will provide space for the agency’s continued growth.

The Announcement:

Sydney’s leading property group has revealed the details of its anticipated Lower North Shore office, in what is the next phase of its ambitious yet sustainable growth.

Located within the historic and locally significant ANZAC Memorial Hall at Level 1, 742 Military Road Mosman, the BresicWhitney office is a partnership with award-winning design practice Those Architects, and its Co-Founder and Director Ben Mitchell, who is a local Mosman resident.

The office will embrace a modern yet curious approach to design that celebrates BresicWhitney’s long-standing commitment to creating inspiring spaces for its people and clients.

Furthermore, it’s one that will respect the local history of the building, as a former recreation space for the ANZACs, paying homage to community foundations and values.

BresicWhitney CEO Thomas McGlynn said, “This is an incredibly exciting step for not only our Lower North Shore team but all of us at BresicWhitney”.

“It’s one that will allow us to continue moving towards our vision to be Sydney’s leading property group, while nurturing the ambitions of our people and our clients.

“We respect and value the local and historical significance of the building, as the former ANZAC Memorial Hall, and recognise the responsibility and opportunity we have in helping write its next chapter.

“We are deeply committed to what we are building, in both a physical and literal sense.”

BresicWhitney’s choice of location was carefully considered, placing the group in a strategic position that enables effective reach and presence across the Lower North Shore, and connectivity to its existing four offices across the Inner East, Inner West, Balmain, and Hunters Hill.

“We are fully committed to Sydney’s key lifestyle markets, and this is something we intentionally share and nurture for the benefit of our people and our clients,” Mr McGlynn said.

“BresicWhitney’s presence that now circles the key Harbourfront markets reflects this, with our Lower North Shore office another strategic hub that strengthens our connectivity and reach across Sydney.”

The group’s Lower North Shore team includes Nicholas Christou, Shabina Kamal, Louise Barton, Anna Chen, and Guido Scatizzi.

In recent months, the team have transacted on over $30 million worth of North Shore property, including the sale of 12 Edgecliff Esplanade, Seaforth, for close to $12 million, and 31 Ryries Parade, Cremorne, for close to $5 million.

The bespoke design of the office will allow for future team growth and expansion.

Mr McGlynn added that BresicWhitney was delighted to be partnering with Those Architects.

Notable commercial projects of Those Architects include the headquarters of fashion brand Aje, the retro-inspired Isla Motel in Batemans Bay, and the Paddington office of See-Saw films.

The BresicWhitney office will come to life in 2024.

“Ben and the team’s approach to considered design that is timeless and uniquely modern, while challenging the standard approach to commercial design thinking, is something that we will always appreciate and seek out,” Mr McGlynn said.

BresicWhitney has a long and established history of partnering with architects to recalibrate the expectations for commercial design in the real estate industry; something that it remains committed to moving forward, as it continues to lead the Sydney real estate experience.
