Movers and Shakers

Century 21’s NSW Rookie of the Year makes a flying start

After just eight months in real estate, Maan Muhana has been named Century 21’s Rookie of the Year, having achieved a remarkable level of success for a new agent.

His accomplishments were honoured in C21’s Q4 awards, where Mr Muhana clinched the prestigious Diamond Sales Award and secured the coveted title of Top Salesperson in NSW.

With a projected settlement of $300,000 GCI in the first quarter of the year, Mr Muhana is off to an impressive start and he said it was thanks to having the right mindset.

“My mindset has always been rooted in continuous growth,” Mr Muhana said.

“Once I set and achieve a goal, I immediately set my sights on the next challenge.”

He said as a sales agent, daily goal-setting was imperative.

“With the unwavering support and guidance of my mentors, I am constantly encouraged to push boundaries, face challenges head-on, and evolve both professionally and personally,” he said.

“Together, we chart a course for growth, tackle obstacles, and strive for excellence in every endeavour.”

Mr Muhana said there were a number of things new agents could do to create their own success quickly, including staying true to yourself and your values.

“Uphold honesty and integrity in your dealings, prioritising long-term reputation over quick results,” he said.

“This approach fosters trust, repeat business, and positive referrals.”

He said effective delivery was also crucial for agents.

“As intermediaries, our role involves delivering both good and bad news,” he said.

“How we convey difficult information greatly impacts client satisfaction and trust.”

According to Mr Muhana, avoiding distractions is also important.

“Stay focused on your goals and avoid distractions that hinder progress, recognising that they only impede success,” he said.

He also believes you need to remain personally accountable.

“Take ownership of your actions, time management, effort, and outcomes, recognising that you are ultimately in control of your own success,” he said.

Finally, Mr Muhana said every agent needed to plan strategically.

“Amidst chaos, maintain focus by setting daily plans, weekly goals, and scheduling tasks effectively, ensuring a path to success,” he said.

Century 21 Australasia, Chief Executive Officer, James Bell, said they were thrilled to have Mr Muhana as part of the team.

“His relentless pursuit of excellence and commitment to surpassing expectations by giving 121 per cent embodies the very essence of our brand’s values,” Mr Bell said.

“We eagerly anticipate witnessing his ongoing achievements.”

“Maan’s incredible success serves as an inspiration to aspiring real estate professionals and a testament to the limitless possibilities that await those who are driven, determined, and passionate about their craft.”
