The Agency has appointed Christian Chaplin as its new General Manager of Sales – Queensland.
Mr Chaplin comes to the role as a specialist in building high performance teams and his eyes are firmly set on continuing the national real estate group’s expansion in the Sunshine State.
He said The Agency’s business model was among the elements that made the role highly appealing.
“The Agency has no boundaries when it comes to growth,” Mr Chaplin said.
“I can’t wait to bring my skill set of recruiting, retaining and inspiring people to The Agency where we can continue to attract the real estate industry’s high achievers in Queensland or draw out those looking for a lifestyle change to the Sunshine State.
“Ensuring we are attracting the right calibre of person both professionally and ethically is of paramount importance to myself and The Agency.
“Those with hunger, desire, and positive demeanour are at the very essence of the company’s vision.
“Let’s not discount a sense of humour either.
“We are creating something a little bit different over here and the right values are of paramount importance.”
The Agency Chief Executive Officer of Real Estate, Matt Lahood, said Mr Chaplin had the growth mindset and track record to deliver on the group’s ambitious growth targets for Queensland.
“Christian is an impressive leader with in excess of 30 years of management and sales experience,” Mr Lahood said.
“In his most recent role at RealtyAssist he grew the business significantly in Western Australia and right across Queensland.
“We expect he will be able to meet and perhaps even exceed growth trajectory targets in the Queensland market, all while providing the support necessary to our growing teams, due to his very strong leadership skills and approach.”
Former General Manager of Sales – Queensland, Steve Carroll, is currently doing some consulting work for The Agency.
The Agency has recently expanded its footprint in Queensland, with the opening of offices on the Gold Coast in Kirra and Surfers Paradise as well as the Sunshine Coast.
The Agency also has a head office in Brisbane and hubs in Toowoomba and Rockhampton.
