Harcourts Group Australia has announced the expansion of its auction training and support program.
The franchise real estate network has announced key appointments to the newly formed Harcourts Auctions division, including Christian Hamilton, who has been promoted to Head of Auctions Australia, and Sam Hinshelwood, who is now National Auctions Operations Manager.
The group’s CEO Marcus Williams said he was pleased key Harcourts Australia team members would be leading the initiative.
“This is a strategic move to ensure our sales consultants have industry-leading training around the auction process, as well as the necessary support in making the Harcourts experience the finest in real estate,” Mr Williams said.
Mr Hamilton’s role will be focused on the ongoing professional development of sales consultants within the network, and he will be working with the Harcourts Academy to create a series of sales and auction training seminars, workshops and live webinars.
Mr Hinshelwood started his career in real estate as Operations Manager for the Harcourts Queensland corporate team in 2016, where he identified new growth opportunities for the business.
Prior to rejoining the corporate team, Mr Hinshelwood worked as a team member with one of Harcourts’ franchise offices in Brisbane.
Mr Hamilton said he was excited to be formally taking over Harcourts’ national auctions training and leadership program.
“And to have Sam come back to the corporate team after a successful stint with a Harcourts franchise office, means we have world-class operations as a foundation for success,” he said.
Mr Hamilton was previously the Chief Auctioneer and Head Academy Trainer for Harcourts Queensland, where he developed a reputation as a leading auctioneer and sales trainer.
Mr Hamilton is licensed to call auctions in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
