Eighteen regions now make up RE/MAX Asia Pacific, with delegates also coming from countries such as Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Poland, Argentina, South Africa and Italy.
Many arrived early to partake in meetings or the charity golf day at Royal Pines on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Indigenous dancers from Australia and New Zealand signal the start of the formal program on Thursday morning, followed by a flag-bearing ceremony recognising and welcoming all nations with representatives at the event.
Special guests and keynote speakers include John Witheriff, Chairman at Minter Ellison Gold Coast and Director of the Commonwealth Games Authority; author and inspirational speaker, Li Cunxin of Mao’s Last Dancer-fame; REA Group’s Nigel Dalton, who ranks in the top 10 most influential people in technology in Australia; RE/MAX Italia’s Dario Castiglia; and Sebastian Sosa, international affairs professional and owner of RE/MAX Argentina-Uruguay.
Individual, team and office awards in 15 categories will be announced on Friday evening at a spectacular cocktail party on Q1’s 77th floor, the 2017 RE/MAX Asia Pacific Convention’s final event.
