Colliers International was named Commercial Agency of the Year at the Real Estate Institute of the ACT’s Awards of Excellence on Saturday night, and Director Rupert Cullen was recognised as Commercial Property Manager of the Year.
“This is the second year Colliers International has taken home the title of Commercial Agency of the Year,” Colliers International Associate Director of Investment Services Matthew Winter said.
“It is a huge credit to both our commercial sales and leasing teams and their dedication to achieving the best outcomes for every client.”
“The success of the cooperative approach every member of the commercial leasing and sales teams takes is evidenced by Colliers International’s track record for achieving exceptional sales results for clients, securing tenants for our clients’ buildings, and the impact we can have on landlords’ costs by improving a building’s efficiency and sustainability,” Colliers International Director Office Leasing Michael Ceacis said.
Colliers International Director Real Estate Management, Rupert Cullen, also sees teamwork as fundamental to his individual success.
“I have to pay tribute to everyone I work with at Colliers International,” Mr Cullen said.
“Without their commitment and support I would not have even been nominated for this award, yet alone have been named Commercial Property Manager of the Year.
“The broad range of skills and experience at Colliers International allows us to collaborate and find innovative solutions for our clients.
“Family plays a big role in our success at Colliers and the business has introduced a number of initiatives this year to support employees balance a successful career with the demands of a modern family and household. Flexible working and a reduction in core work hours has given staff the ability to tailor their work to maximise their effectiveness.”
“We are very pleased to have been recognised by REIACT and want to congratulate all the finalists and other award winners,” Mr Winter said.
“It is great to have an opportunity to reflect on and celebrate the strength of Canberra’s real estate sector.”
