Eagles drummer Don Henley buys his son a million-dollar LA home

Grammy-winning Eagles founding member Don Henley has quietly purchased a Westside Los Angeles home for his son, 24-year-old Will Henley.

According to The Dirt, the drummer paid US$4.3 million for a 4-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom, open-concept, contemporary home on a quiet, family-friendly street.

The spacious home includes 325sq m of living space along with a nearly 700sq m backyard.

Inside there are skylights and picture windows throughout the home, along with hardwood floors giving the property a spacious and open feel.

On the main level, a double-height living room connects to the formal dining area and eat-in kitchen with all the latest stainless steel appliances.

There are also ceiling-high glass sliding doors that give the residents easy access to the large backyard that contains a built-in BBQ, covered dining area and saltwater swimming pool.

There’s also a powder room and one-bedroom downstairs, while on the upper level there’s a second family room and the other three bedrooms.

The primary suite boasts a walk-in closet and soaking tub, while either of the other two bedrooms can easily be converted into additional space or a home office.

The property appears to be in strong demand, fetching US$300,000 over the asking price and US$1.2 million over its previous sale price of US$3.1 million in 2019.
