Fresh off her Golden Globe triumph for her role in Poor Things, celebrated actress Emma Stone is making headlines in the real estate world.
Stone, who primarily resides in Austin, Texas, has listed her Spanish-style bungalow in the Comstock Hills area of Westwood, Los Angeles, for nearly US$4 million.
According to the Robb Report, Stone purchased the property in 2019 for about US$2.3 million, and carried out extensive renovations.
The kitchen has been expanded and a one-bedroom guesthouse, complete with its own kitchen and living room, has been added.
Built in the 1920s, the house exudes character, retaining many original features such as wood-beam ceilings and wide arched doorways.
It spans more than 297sq m and includes four bedrooms and four bathrooms, all adorned with vibrant colours.
The property’s exterior features creamy stucco walls and a terracotta roof, complemented by a brick walkway leading to a sage-green door that opens into a tiled courtyard.
The interior boasts a light-filled living room with a fireplace, built-in shelving, and French doors.
Additionally, the house offers a formal dining area and a sitting room linked to an eat-in kitchen fitted with white wood cabinetry and a turquoise-hued oven.
The primary bedroom comes with a stylish bath, featuring a vintage clawfoot soaking tub and a separate walk-in shower.
Apart from this Westwood house, Stone also owns a luxurious apartment in New York City and a mansion in Texas.
In 2022, she sold a midcentury ranch-style house in Malibu to David Cooley, the owner of The Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood, for US$4.4 million.
