A strong desire to re-establish a name for selling premium property in a high-end market proved the main motivation for one of the Gold Coast’s hardest working agents to return to Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty.
Sales agent Karen Pirie has realigned with Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty after first working with the brand when popular CEO Paul Arthur took the helm.
With a high percentage of referral business, Ms Pirie has set street, building and suburb records, with her highest sale to date being $5.5 million for a beachfront property and a $9.6 million development site in Upper Coomera.
Ms Pirie said that under the Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty banner, she was well on track to increasing her average sale price of $1.2 million.
“We are in the business of marketing property so partnering my local knowledge with world-class marketing material on a global stage just made sense for me to return,” she said.
“Aligning my expertise with such a gorgeous brand has clearly removed any price point ceiling I experienced with previous agencies, and by combining this with my extensive database it creates a recipe of sales success for my clients.”
The majority of Ms Pirie’s career sales come from local apartments and beachfront properties in Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. In the few months she’s been back at Sotheby’s, she’s made quite a few sales and new listings, including absolute beachfront properties, penthouses and sub-penthouses.
CEO Paul Arthur said the company was thrilled to have Ms Pirie working once again under the Sotheby’s International Realty umbrella.
“As we continue to widen our presence across Queensland, we do so only by recruiting the very best people,” he said.
“Ms Pirie has a vast resume of repeat clients, which is testimony to her hard work and ability to establish a solid rapport.”
Ms Pirie launched her real estate career in 2003 after relocating from New Zealand where she was a successful sportswoman, ranking sixth in mountain biking.
