The Harcourts Foundation, the charitable arm of Harcourts Group Australia, announced grants to 13 Australian charities during of its most recent quarterly funding round. A total of $50,847 was donated across Australia.
Harcourts franchise owners in each state nominate and support the organisations that impact in their communities. Additionally, Harcourts corporate team members are given the chance to nominate a specific charity for a grant as part of an initiative called ‘corporate choice grants’, while the Landmark Harcourts network also designates grant recipients.
“Giving back to the communities where we live is such an important part of what we believe in at Harcourts,” said Julia Eyles, The Harcourts Foundation Coordinator. “With this round of funding, over $50,000 is going directly to the charities doing amazing work across Australia, and it will impact specific initiatives. We’re very proud of the fact that we can give 100% of funds raised through the Foundation with zero administrative fees.”
Charities granted funds this quarter include Deakin University, Gold Coast Hospital, Little Wings, Flinders Foundation, QLD Police Citizens Youth Welfare plus others. Within all four countries where the foundation operates over 50 per cent of offices donate with each property sold.
