Leading Victorian real estate brand, Hockingstuart, has today announced the opening of its newest office in Warragul, Victoria, led by the respected Quirk family of Vin, Geoff and Sharon Quirk.
The Quirk name has a long association with the West Gippsland district spanning 60 years. Vin and Geoff’s father, Kevin Quirk, started his real estate career in 1962 and developed a reputation for real estate excellence with strong ties to the local community. That legacy continues with his sons and daughter-in-law.
The team is excited about joining the Hockingstuart brand, which following a merger with premium national brand Belle Property in 2019, now benefits from access to additional resources and support as part of a 167-strong network of offices.
As Vin Quirk explains, “We’ve always admired the Hockingstuart brand and while our family name is well known in the area, we wanted to join a bigger group with similar values of personalized service and expert local knowledge like us. The Hockingstuart and wider Belle Property network offers national and global reach through the wider Belle Property network and an alliance with Leading Real Estate Agents of the World and Luxury Property Portfolio, and we can’t wait to take advantage of the vast resources and exposure now available.”
Located just one hour east of the Melbourne CBD, Warragul is a growing community that has seen an increase in popularity due to its proximity to the city, snowfields and coastline.
“People are starting to see the real benefits of where Warragul sits. You can commute to the city during the week and hit the snowfields or the beach on the weekend, all within an hour,” said Vin Quirk.
Hockingstuart Warragul will be led by Vin and Geoff in sales, with Sharon overseeing property management and administration. The team also offers commercial sales and leasing, rural sales and leasing, as well as projects and land sales.
