HGTV star Jasmine Roth, known for her work on Hidden Potential and Help! I Wrecked My House, has listed her Huntington Beach home for just under US$6.5 million.
Roth and her husband Brett originally bought the property for US$700,000 in May 2016, according to the Robb Report.
The house, designed and built by Roth, is located in the popular Lake Park neighbourhood, just a few blocks from the beach.
The residence, dubbed the Roth Homestead, showcases Roth’s ‘California casual’ style.
Built from scratch over three years and completed in 2020, the two-storey house offers five bedrooms and six bathrooms within 422sq m of living space.
The interior features a mix of porcelain tile and hand-brushed, matte-oiled engineered hardwood floors, a Savant Smart Home System, three HVAC zones, and a monitored security system.
Situated on a fenced and gated plot of less than 0.1ha, the house welcomes guests with double wood doors leading to a hallway.
The main floor includes an office with a full bath, a formal dining room with a fireplace, and a butler’s pantry connecting to the kitchen.
The kitchen boasts an eat-in island with leather-finished black granite, custom Viking appliances, and a breakfast nook.
The adjacent living room features a built-in reading nook, a pet cubby, and pocketing glass doors opening to a covered terrace with three TVs and a built-in Lynx barbecue.
Additionally, the main level includes a bonus room with a wet bar and a hidden speakeasy-style lounge.
Upstairs, the primary suite features a vaulted ceiling, a decorative fireplace, a walk-in closet, and a marble-clad bath with dual vanities and a vintage clawfoot tub.
The second floor also houses three more bedrooms, two additional baths, a TV-viewing area, and a laundry room.
The backyard includes a pool, a cedar-barrel hot tub, and a roof deck with a firepit.
The property also boasts a unique five-and-a-half-car garage. Roth, who has a 4-year-old daughter and is expecting her second child, is moving to Park City, Utah.
She reflects on the sale with mixed emotions, citing the many memories made in the home but looking forward to new adventures.
