RE/MAX Australia has appointed Katie Cotton, former National Manager with easyBondpay and easyAdpay, to the role of Business Growth Manager.
Ms Cotton will focus on expanding the network through the southern Queensland and northern New South Wales regions.
“With easyBondpay being a well-known product supplier to the real estate sector, and a RE/MAX partner, I have already established relationships with many of the RE/MAX business owners,” Ms Cotton said.
“Now I will be assisting them with growth and profitability within their business.”
The big focus for Ms Cotton is network growth and bringing on new franchise opportunities to RE/MAX Australia.
“I will identify those professionals, from within the real estate field and outside it, who will prosper in a culture that gives them flexibility to operate their businesses with great independence while getting extensive resources, training and support to satisfy ambitions and achieve goals.
“RE/MAX nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit,” she said.
Having studied social science, Ms Cotton realised her strengths in relationship building could take a different path and she earned a reputation for success in the training sector.
“I am essentially a people person,” she said.
“All my professional experience has been relationships focused and I’m passionate about customer experiences – creating great experiences.”
She is well-known and respected as a trainer and conference speaker, including as a keynote speaker at numerous real estate industry events.
Ms Cotton now brings her talent and experience into RE/MAX Australia for the benefit of the company, and the individual business owners and their sales and property management teams.
RE/MAX Australia Managing Director, Joel Davoren, welcomed her to the growing Australian network and corporate team.
“Katie’s appointment is strategically important,” he said.
“The past few months have been challenging and we have been living through something our generation has never before experienced.
“While the real estate landscape has changed, we have and need to continue to evolve and change with it. RE/MAX has been at the forefront of observing, accessing and redefining what makes a great agent and a successful business.
“By focusing on key priorities and having the right people on the team that supports our network, we create the platform to put ourselves and our clients in the best position.”
