New Laing+Simmons Narrabeen Office Donates To Local School

The newly opened Laing+Simmons Narrabeen is off to a flying start, with the team enjoying its strongest month of the year and celebrating its rebranding by kicking off an important initiative to give back to the local community.

The real estate agency has just announced it will donate $500 for every property it sells in Narrabeen to Narrabeen Lakes Public School.

Narrabeen Lakes Public School Acting School Principal Rob Zappia said the school was very grateful for the initiative.

“We’re really happy that the school will be getting this funding for the children and I would like to thank Laing+Simmons Narrabeen for their generous donation,” he said.

“It’s yet to be decided as to what we will use the money for but my personal preference would be to put it towards technological investments we’re making at the school, providing pupils with iPads and Chromebooks to prepare them for the workplace of tomorrow.”

The new Laing+Simmons Narrabeen has just opened its doors at 1318 Pittwater Road after a complete refurbishment. According to Laing+Simmons Narrabeen Principal Paul McArthur, the rebrand is already having a major impact.

“We’ve only been operating as part of the Laing+Simmons family since the end of August and already we’ve had our most successful month of the year in terms of sales,” said Mr McArthur.

“Prices keep going up in the local area and demand continues to remain extremely high. For example, we had 60 groups view a three-bedroom deceased estate recently in North Narrabeen which sold at auction earlier this month.

“Most of the interest is still coming from Northern Beaches locals and the North Shore. We’re noticing a good proportion of first time buyers in the mix, supported by mum and dad, as well as people looking to upsize.

“We’re also getting a lot of interest from investors as well. The buyer profile in the local market at the moment is really diverse, and vendors have every reason to be optimistic.”

Paul is Northern Beaches born and bred. He grew up in Elanora Heights, went to school at St Lukes Grammar in Dee Why and has worked in real estate on the Northern Beaches for around a decade. It is this Northern Beaches connection which has inspired the team to partner with the nearby Narrabeen Lakes Public School.

“Myself and all our staff live on the Northern Beaches and we wanted to give something back to our community. Partnering with the local school just made sense,” Mr McArthur said.

Laing+Simmons Managing Director Leanne Pilkington said the highly experienced Narrabeen team fits the proudly local Laing+Simmons mould.

“We especially want to work with people who are passionate and enthusiastic about the industry and their local area. The team behind Laing+Simmons Narrabeen is a strong force in the local market and their vast experience makes them an ideal fit in the Laing+Simmons family,” Ms Pilkington said.
