Today marks an important milestone for the award-winning Laing+Simmons The Abassi Group, with the network’s Caddens | Penrith office officially joining one of western Sydney’s most progressive and fast growing real estate outfits.
Laing+Simmons Caddens|Penrith joins The Abassi Group to complement the group’s existing offices in St Marys and Ropes Crossing to create new synergies and offer customers more robust coverage and reach across the growing western Sydney region.
Together, the three-strong office group offers the western Sydney community a complete suite of real estate services, from sales, leasing, property management, market appraisals, auction services, project marketing, valuations and even finance options.
Group Principal Paul Abassi is bullish about the future of the western Sydney market.
“Obviously the recent rate rise cycle has impacted buyer and vendor confidence but the fundamentals for the western Sydney market remain sound,” he said.
“On the demand side, population growth, the resumption of immigration, decentralisation away from the CBD due to affordability and other drivers are in play.
“There are supply side challenges but infrastructure investments and new developments combined with greater choice at a variety of price points mean key centres like Penrith are on the radar of buyers of all types.
“We believe the relative affordability of western Sydney property will be reinforced by strong transaction activity in 2023, particularly once interest rates stabilise.”
Laing+Simmons The Abassi Group won the Real Estate Agency – Medium Award at the Real Estate Institute of NSW 2022 Awards for Excellence.
The Group is now in the running for the national title at the upcoming Real Estate Institute of Australia awards.
