With an ambition to become a Principal in the next two years, Brisbane agent Matt O’Neill has joined Belle Property Ascot.
Starting his real estate career over eight years ago, Mr O’Neill worked his way up to establish himself, and his colleague, Josh Procopis, as a top performing and consistent team in Brisbane.
“I started from nothing and built traction through genuine hard work and prospecting like cold calls, door-knocking and tracking listings that weren’t selling. There’s no secret to my business growth, just focus, consistency and never compromising on quality,” Mr O’Neill said.
Joining Belle Property in March, Mr O’Neill said the key driver of his decision, was to implement a plan so that his goal of business ownership became a reality.
“I want become a joint-owner of a Belle Property office within the next two years,” he explained.
“After eight years as an agent, I don’t want to risk stagnating. I was looking for a new environment and the Belle Property Ascot team offered me that. For the first time I am operating under a selling principal, I am really enjoying the change and the fresh energy that comes with it.”
Spending the majority of his career working across Brisbane’s Western Suburbs, Mr O’Neill’s ambition now is to break into the highly competitive Northside, with a focus on Hendra and Clayfield.
Head of Belle Property Queensland, Jon Iceton welcomed Mr O’Neill to the growing network.
“Matt has proven himself as one of Brisbane’s leading real estate agents and I have every confidence that his success will continue under the Belle Property banner. We are lucky to have him join us and we look forward to supporting Matt as he embarks on the next phase of his career,” Mr Iceton.
Recognising the task ahead of him, Matt said it is going to take an “almighty effort” to achieve his ambitions.
“It’s all starts with hitting the phones; be the hunter, not the hunted.” he said.
