Liza Balian has joined First National Real Estate’s Business Growth Management team in Victoria.
She’s tasked with speeding up the company’s growth across the state.
A professional with a unique ability to build enduring relationships and provide steadfast support to colleagues and clients alike, Ms Balian joins First National after helping several agencies during the height of the global pandemic operate and keep their doors open remotely.
“I’m thrilled to join First National Real Estate at this point in the network’s history,” she said.
“It’s a brand that presents a strong business proposition, backed by genuine innovation and an exceptional corporate culture.
“The current economic environment presents strategic opportunities for growth for such a competitive, nationally recognised brand.
“First National’s unique cooperative structure fosters a collaborative environment that breeds business success, and I’m eager to leverage my experience to drive its expansion throughout Victoria.”
Ms Balian said the network’s commitment to providing high level products and services, along with its not-for-profit corporate charter, was also appealing, for its ability to empower business owners and provide cost-efficiencies they could reinvest into their businesses, staff development, and local communities.
Ms Balian also brings to the role extensive corporate experience, having started her career in the legal departments of Melbourne’s banking and finance sector, where she gained unique insights into the complexities of the regulatory landscapes governing financial institutions.
In her previous roles, her commitment to uncovering and understanding the unique needs and concerns of clients allowed her to offer tailored solutions that go beyond conventional transactions.
“Liza brings a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering growth and innovation in the real estate industry, making her a valuable addition to our team,” First National Head of Growth, Australia and New Zealand, Matthew Harvey said.
“Her enthusiasm for joining our network is matched only by our excitement in having her on board.”
