LJ Hooker Avnu has released Australia’s first real-time real estate report, providing both property price and rental price estimates to assist homeowners in making an informed decision about when it could be the best time for them to sell what is often their greatest asset – their home.
The report updates with the latest data compared to many reports that often rely on data that’s up to six months old.
Avnu worked with a behavioural scientist, CoreLogic, and a creative agency to develop the reports.
The behavioural scientist particularly looked at how people best digested and understood detailed market data and how it should be presented in the report, so it was relevant and meaningful to them.
Christine Mikhael, Avnu Chief Performance Officer, said the reports are designed to put the right data in everyone’s hands, so that they can make informed decisions about when it could be best to sell their home.
“We know that when homeowners have the information, they need to make informed decisions and you pair that with high-performing expert agents, you’re going to get a great result when selling your home,” she said.
As well as providing homeowners with a report that’s designed to make it easy to understand what’s happening in the market, the report is also real-time, allowing homeowners to access the latest available data on their home.
“Once someone requests a report, it’s generated instantly and they’re sent a link to the report – not a stagnate PDF,” Ms Mikhael said.
“The data in the report then updates as new data is available, such as a similar property selling for a record price, local supply and demand changes or if the area’s average days on market contracts.
“It’s the most comprehensive and detailed report available in the market today and builds on Avnu’s brand pillar of building trust and providing transparency to consumers.”
In 2018, LJ Hooker Avnu launched Australia’s first vendor app, which allows vendors to be updated about their selling journey in real time courtesy of information like buyer inquiry, submitted offers, and inspection volumes.
Avnu’s property report now extends the transparency into the selling process and access to expert agents and the latest data.
