LJ Hooker has announced senior appointments for Andrew Woodley-Page, Kim Greenan and Stephen Mutton.
The Announcement:
LJ Hooker is fortifying its leadership team with several new senior appointments as the real estate network looks to expand in the countdown to its centenary celebrations.
Andrew Woodley-Page has joined the business as the new state manager for LJ Hooker in Western Australia, bringing with him a wealth of experience from the highly competitive commercial property sector achieved over the past two decades.
“Business development is a passion of mine and I’m excited about the growth trajectory of LJ Hooker in Western Australia,” he said.
“The brand has a significant heritage and is one that people know and trust, so it is a great foundation to build upon for the future. I look forward to helping others to grow their outlook and their business.”
Mr Woodley-Page joins Kim Greenan who has taken on a new role as state manager for NSW and ACT and Scott Carter who has joined the network as a regional growth manager for the mid-north coast. Aaron Booth was also recently appointed as head of strategic growth for performance and growth.
LJ Hooker General Manager, Stephen Mutton said there has been increasing demand from other agencies to join the iconic brand, which is preparing to mark its 100th anniversary. The first office was opened by Sir Leslie Joseph Hooker in Maroubra on September 20, 1928.
“As we head towards this significant milestone, we want to ensure that LJ Hooker is in a position of strength, so we can leverage our scale and take the brand into the next century,” Mr Mutton said.
“LJ Hooker is a national network, and we are very focused on investing and growing in the west. It is still a very affordable market and attracting a lot of investors from the eastern states, so there is a prime opportunity for us to further expand.
“Andrew has been involved in some of the largest transactions in the Perth commercial market – he understands business, numbers and the upper-end transactional market. We know that his expertise and knowledge will benefit our business owners and their teams in Western Australia.”
LJ Hooker’s strategic growth team, led by Mr Booth, will be bolstered by the team of state managers who will also be actively involved in expanding the network through the metropolitan and regional areas.
Ms Greenan joined the LJ Hooker Group earlier this year as strategic growth manager. In her new role as NSW/ACT state manager, she will be assisting in opening new offices and supporting existing ones.
Mr Carter will be responsible for fostering and developing relationships with existing offices helping them to build business plans and providing additional training.
Now based in Coffs Harbour, he grew up in Kyogle in the state’s north and worked as an agronomist with Elders before moving into real estate. His diverse background also includes business, property, and strata management.
“My own experiences mean I understand the challenges faced by regional offices and can provide advice and coaching on how to overcome them,” Mr Carter said.
“As we have seen throughout Covid, there is a lot more movement between the city and country areas and with that comes an expected level of service.”
Mr Mutton believes real estate agencies need to be able to access additional assistance, upskilling and leadership in the changing market conditions.
“One of the biggest drawcards, when offices join our network, is ongoing support and training so we are stepping up to provide another level of service,” he said.
“We have ensured we have the right people in the job to guide offices to be able to increase market share and better position their business in the current market.
“As a result, we have seen the appetite for our brand increasing with more agencies wanting to become part of the LJ Hooker family and its future.”
