One of the nation’s leading industry-backed real estate portals has appointed a new Head of Product, with Homely.com announcing Luke Kenyon has joined its Executive Team to take on the newly created role.
As Homely’s Head of Product, Mr Kenyon will create and manage Homely’s product strategy and roadmap to increase consumer audience, engagement, retention, data integrity and revenue.
Mr Kenyon has extensive experience in high-growth companies in Australia and Europe, including Sportsbet, RACV, and REA Group.
He spent three-and-a-half years at REA and was pivotal in growing their engaged consumer audience using innovative products and data strategies.
Welcoming Mr Kenyon to the role, Homely’s Co-Founder Adam Spencer said the portal had a suite of exciting products and developments in the pipeline for 2021, which had facilitated the need for the new position.
“The appointment will allow for a dedicated expert to live and breathe Homely’s product every day in order to make the rapid advancements we’re after,” Mr Spencer said.

“Luke’s comprehensive product roadmap will put Homely on track for a phenomenal year in terms of product releases, as well as audience and revenue growth.”
Mr Spencer said since starting at Homely recently, Mr Kenyon had already made significant improvements to Homely’s product development processes, having helped to streamline the Development Team’s resources and workflow.
Mr Kenyon said he was equally excited to be joining the team, saying he had been monitoring the company’s progress over the past few years.
“It was an absolute no-brainer to join Homely,” he said. “I have spent the first few months gaining an understanding of customer and consumer pain points.
“This understanding has enabled me to establish a detailed product vision, strategy and roadmap to help Homely achieve its strategic objectives of increasing engagement, audience and revenue.
“I’m truly excited to help Homely work towards its vision of becoming a major competitor in the Australian property portal space by making a difference to how consumer’s experience property in Australia whilst at the same time providing maximum value to our agents.”
Mr Kenyon said his background working with renowned companies in the tech market had prepared him well for the role.
“I bring strong development and best practices when building and rolling out high growth and innovative products,” he said.

Adam Spencer said Mr Kenyon’s skills would be instrumental in the rollout of Homely’s new products, and he looked forward to his input in areas including long-term planning and the evolution of the company’s product offering. “
