Luxury specialist Noel Nicholson expands in Upper Northern Beaches

Ray White Prestige | Palm Beach will open a new office in Whale Beach with a focus on local knowledge and providing first-rate service to discerning clients.

The Announcement:

ONE of Ray White’s top offices in one of the most highly desirable real estate locations in Australia, Ray White Prestige | Palm Beach is expanding to open an additional premises in the highly sought after area of nearby Whale Beach.

Owned by Noel Nicholson and his wife Susan, the well known pair have built a formidable reputation on the Northern Beaches over the last 15 years and believe now is the right time to expand.

Mr Nicholson is extremely well regarded for his discretion and tenacity while his knowledge of the prestige property market on the Northern Beaches of Sydney is second to none.

“We’re locals who live and breathe the lifestyle of the upper Northern Beaches and we know we offer a unique selling point. We are a very tight knit family unit and backed by the biggest family owned business in the industry,” Mr Nicholson said.

Mr Nicholson’s professional career saw him spend three decades with Qantas which provided an outstanding grounding for the exceptional level of service and determination required to work in any prestige-focused industry.

The Nicholsons’ 31-year-old son Jimmy also recently put their business and Palm Beach on the map after the young pilot starred in the hit reality TV show The Bachelor and he found love with Holly Kingston.

“We are a family business and in fact Jimmy used to help me run open homes when he was studying at university. He also used to produce drone property videos for us too,” Mr Nicholson said.

“We loved watching the show and we’re so proud of how he carried himself and he fell in love with Holly which is so great.

“We’re so excited about our Whale Beach office which will be headed up by experienced senior sales agent Laura Mears, she’s our secret weapon, and well known in the area.

“Whale Beach is our sister suburb and it also relies on local knowledge and we’ll keep supporting our discerning buyers and sellers as this is what brings me great joy and satisfaction,” Mr Nicholson said.

Pre-COVID these beachside suburbs were predominantly holiday homes but now that’s been turned on its head with more people working from home than ever before.

The area was known for its high end off market prestige sales with mainly local buyers or people from the eastern suburbs or upper north shore who want to relocate.

Community minded sales agent, Laura Mears is an active member of Whale Beach Surf Club and like Susan Nicholson, she also loves participating in the Palm Beach to Whale Beach 3km ocean swim.

“I was definitely attracted to the family values at Ray White, and also Noel’s style of leadership. My mantra is to always put the customer at the heart of any transaction. I am committed to my clients, and process driven to achieve results for my clients,” Ms Mears said.

Brian White, Chairman of Ray White Group, said the Prestige | Palm Beach business was known for its relentless commitment to their clients, strong values and innovative approach to marketing.

“Noel and Susan have built a tremendous business and my family and I are so proud to have them as part of our family business for more than five years now,” Mr White said.

“We truly believe their best years’ are still ahead of them and I personally recommend their services.”

Ray White New South Wales CEO Andrew McCulloch was also excited to see the Palm Beach business expand into Whale Beach.

“We firmly see ourselves as partners, not franchisors, and this collaborative approach is very attractive to our business owners,” Mr McCulloch said.

“We are progressive and support our owners’ ambitions. We really have become a brand of attraction here in New South Wales for this style of high-achieving agents.”
