Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan has upgraded his living situation with the US$12.5 million acquisition of a brand-new mansion in L.A.’s popular Encino community.
According to The Dirt, the rising Hollywood star hadn’t even settled on the sale of his US$7 million Hollywood Hills bachelor pad before upgrading to his new estate.
Set behind gates on about half an acre, there are a total of eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, plus four more powder rooms, and about 1142sq m of living space.
Some of the highlights of the modern farmhouse-style home include a towering wooden front door and an indoor waterfall.
To move between the three floors you can use the staircase or elevator, while there are a number of disappearing walls of glass that allow for easy indoor-outdoor living.
The large, double-island kitchen features custom cabinetry, and the entire property is protected by a high-tech security system controlled by a state-of-the-art smart home system.
Each of the bedrooms includes a private bathroom, while the primary suite offers two bathrooms, along with a fireplace, a balcony and a dedicated shoe closet within the fitted dressing rooms.
The mansion also includes a subterranean level that offers a lounge with a professional bar, a movie theatre, a temperature-controlled wine cellar encased in glass and a spa treatment room.
The backyard has a built-in barbecue and bar area and zero-edge pool and spa.
There’s also a pool house with a bathroom, an open-air poolside lounge, and a two-storey guesthouse with a second level bedroom that looks across a courtyard and directly into the primary bedroom.
