NFL star Russell Wilson and singer Ciara to sell waterfront estate for US$31 million

In Bellevue, Washington, renowned for its upscale shopping and picturesque woodlands, NFL star Russell Wilson and singer Ciara are set to sell their luxurious waterfront estate for a staggering US$31 million.

The couple acquired the property in 2015 for $6.7 million, shortly after Wilson’s draft to the Seattle Seahawks and their budding romance began.

Their subsequent marriage led to the purchase of the adjacent lot, amounting to another US$6.7 million, according to the Robb Report.

The estate, known for its 1021sq m Mediterranean-style mansion, is nestled on an acre of prime lakeside land, offering panoramic views of the Seattle skyline.

It features six bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, and a range of lavish amenities including a private 18m yacht slip, a sports court, and a two-storey treehouse.

The home is accessible across all floors by an elevator, enhancing the luxurious feel of the property.

Initially priced at US$28 million, the main residence faced price reductions before settling at an asking price of $21.25 million.

The second, less developed parcel sold swiftly for US$9.75 million.

Both parcels were put on the market in April 2022 as separate offerings.

The main residence is currently under contract, expected to close this month near the asking price.

The interior of the estate boasts high-end features such as stone-encased fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen with top-tier appliances, and a grand foyer with a spiral staircase under a coffered ceiling.

Entertainment is lavish with a home theatre, wine room, recording studio, and multiple fitness studios.

Notably, the primary suite includes a wood-burning fireplace and a deluxe ensuite, providing serene lake views. An expansive walk-in closet and a glam room add to the suite’s opulence.

Outside, the property offers a patio with a fire pit and direct access to the dock for boating.

The property is represented by Carmen Gayton of Windermere Real Estate, highlighting the estate’s blend of luxury and natural beauty, ideal for discerning buyers seeking an exclusive retreat.
