Mental health is a growing concern in many industries, including real estate.
The trauma of recent events has impacted workers far and wide, and the toll of such an upheaval in the day-to-day lives of all of us will be felt for some time to come.
To help soften the impact of COVID-19, the NSW Government is offering a range of free mental health programs for workers, managers and business owners of private sector businesses with less than 200 employees.
The following resources are being made available:
- A three-hour online workshop delivered by a clinical psychologist to assist you in identifying the signs of mental ill-health among your staff
- A one-hour, four-part online training session to help you develop techniques that improve wellbeing, and better support your team.
- Work health and safety advice specific to your business provided by an organisational psychologist.
- Advice on how to better manage teams remotely and strategies to ensure wellness while staff return to work.
Additionally, there are also training modules developed by Black Dog Institute, and information about workplace bullying and violence available at the NSW Government website.
