Popular Perth agent joins RE/MAX Extreme

Successful and sought-after real estate agent, Deirdre McTiernan, is the most recent key appointment to the RE/MAX Extreme team.

With more than a decade of property experience and a perfectionist in both her professional and personal life, Deirdre’s reputation for building relationships, always putting the client first and delivering the best service and results precedes her.

Ms McTiernan’s professional success spans building and construction, property development and real estate sales.

From a strong management background that began in Ireland with big name brands like IKEA, her career in Western Australia took off with HomeStart, a division of the BGC Housing Group, Western Australia’s largest home builders, where she first worked as a sales consultant and by 2015 progressed into the role of sales manager.

In 2018, Ms McTiernan became Regional Sales Manager at Stockland WA, where she managed a large and diverse portfolio.

However, it was only a matter of time before a deep-seated desire to expand her experience into a real estate career saw her make her next move and she joined a well-respected independent Perth agency towards the end of 2021.

“I invested heavily into my career there, forming relationships and building networks, but I realised in order for me to fulfil my ambitions and successes that I would need to work with a company where I could expand my business, one that provided me with mentoring and support, and was a leader in the industry.” Ms McTiernan said. 

“I thoroughly researched the major real estate groups and RE/MAX stood out in many vital aspects.

Ms McTiernan attributed her quickly amassed successes and achievements in real estate to the importance she gives to relationships with clients, which cemented a high rate of referrals stretching back to her first-home buyers at HomeStart.

Word of mouth is so important, she said, and it is not uncommon for Ms McTiernan to sell four or five properties in one street because of it.

After her Christmas break visiting family in County Clare, Ireland, Ms McTiernan hit the ground running at RE/MAX Extreme this month bringing her reputation, experience and listings, including key properties in City Beach, Yokine, Canning Vale and Helena Valley, with her.
