REAL estate agents, mortgage brokers and financial advisers from all over Australia and New Zealand have spent a memorable evening at the historic village in Crows Nest where it all began for property giant Ray White in 1902.
The attendees were the winners of the group’s biggest-ever referral initiative called LINK which saw every facet of the White family business rewarded for offering their customers a holistic service by referring them to key services across Ray White, Loan Market and Wealth Market.
The dinner at the historic village in Crows Nest, outside Toowoomba, was the pinnacle in a list of prizes offered to the network over the month-long program, winners were also treated to an educational mentoring session with the White Family and Mark McLeod, CEO of Growth at Ray White.
The referral program saw agents undertake more appraisals, Loan Market brokers engaged with more leads and Wealth Market’s financial advisers made more appointments while their customers received an end-to-end complete experience.
National sales winner, Ryan Stapleton of Ray White Salisbury in South Australia, said the LINK program gave him a great opportunity to connect with new clients and have “real value add conversations”.
“Our office has always referred to our mortgage broker but the LINK program kept it top of mind,” said Mr Stapleton, who joined Ray White last August.
“Visiting The Shed was a really great experience and to do it with two of my colleagues was a fantastic. It was great to meet Brian and Sam White and also be surrounded by a number of high performers in our network.”
Loan Market mortgage broker Lyndal Linkin, who works in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, was named as the group’s top referrer to Wealth Market.
Ms Linkin has a talent for making property dreams come true by launching lucrative property portfolios for investors. She empowers her clients and helps them transform their financial goals into reality, through leveraging her extensive experience across real estate, finance and accounting.
“The LINK program is an extraordinarily empowering platform for our businesses as it allows us to give our clients a comprehensive service offering,” Ms Linkin said.
“Being able to work with like-minded business owners in the group, across real estate, finance and financial planning, will be what gives us the edge and sets us apart moving forward.”
Ms Linkin said she was so grateful for the White Family’s leadership, generosity of time and vision.
“The support I was given by Brian and Sam While at The Shed is something I will always remember. It was inspiring to see where it all started and the history they are so proud of.”
A regional winner, Ray White City Residential Perth selling principal Brent Compton said he loved his first trip to Crows Nest despite previously working in Brisbane for 10 years.
He rated the LINK program as a huge success as everyone who participated in it received more leads which was its ultimate ambition.
“We got opportunities in both rentals and sales, so it was a wonderful initiative to be part of. Working with a Loan Market broker also means we offer the best service to our customers and when you offer another service like a mortgage, it’s another layer of quality customer service. It’s especially good if you have good brokers, which we do here,” Mr Compton said.
“I tell people who ask about LINK to just ‘ask for the business’. If you ask your clients nicely if they need some mortgage advice, they will generally always take it up. Take an interest and be helpful to your clients.”
