Ray White Goolwa/Victor Harbor in South Australia has welcomed the award-winning Nici Godwin back to the family in the role of Sales Agent.
“Goolwa is my home. It’s where I live, it’s where I work and it’s where my kids have enjoyed growing up. I’m so happy to live in such a unique area,” Ms Godwin said.
“Real estate is where my career started when I was about 20 years old, in admin before moving on to be a PA.
“I really enjoyed the role of PA, it was something I was good at, and I have a real passion for supporting others and helping them progress.
“I started life with Ray White back in about 2004 in the Goolwa/Victor Harbor office where I worked as Office Manager/PA and helped a lot of sales people starting out in their careers.
“After four years, my career then changed directions, and it was another 11 years or so before I decided the time was right to move back to the nation’s leading real estate group.”
Ms Godwin, who has won a number of awards throughout her successful career including most recently “Agent of the Year” for Goolwa, said technology and marketing strategies lured her back to Ray White.
“I had been speaking to South Australia/Northern Territory CEO Matthew Lindblom about career options and I knew this was the best place to give my clients the excellence they deserve,” she said.
“The technology the group uses is fantastic. And the programs within that technology means my clients will get the highest level of service.
“Ray White is such a supportive group and I love that about the brand. Chairman Brian White even made the effort to call me on my first day back, welcoming me back to the family. Where else would you get that?”
Ms Godwin said real estate was so much more than a job to her and she adored making relationships with the local people.
“It’s so much more than selling a property to me. It’s about getting to know your clients and developing a mutual trust that extends beyond the sale,” she said.
“I’ve made some really nice friendships over the years, to the point where clients from years ago will still invite me over for dinner, or to show me some of changes they’ve made to their home.”
Ray White South Australia/Northern Territory CEO Matthew Lindblom said he was pleased to welcome Ms Godwin back after 11 years away from the family.
“Nici is a very successful sales person along the south coast, in particular Goolwa where Nici lives with her family, and has done for over 20 years,” Mr Lindblom said.
“Nici prides herself on having extensive knowledge of the local property market, with most of her clients coming from referrals and repeat business, due to such a high level of customer satisfaction.
“We welcome having such an experienced agent like Nici rejoining Ray White Goolwa/Victor Harbor.”
