REA Group has commended its property manager customers across the country on the second National Property Managers Day.
National Property Managers Day encourages agencies, landlords and tenants to publicly celebrate the efforts of outstanding Property Managers who play a significant role in Australia’s real estate industry.
REA Group executive manager of Rent, Jarrod Scott commended the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (REINSW) for leading the National Property Managers Day initiative and other state and territory Real Estate Institutes for their support.
“Around 6.4 million Australians currently rent, that’s equal to around 32 per cent of the nation’s adult population[i]. With that in mind, it’s clear property managers play a huge role in the lives of so many Australians,” Mr Scott said.
“Property managers were required to continuously pivot over the last 18 months – managing the impact of COVID-19 restrictions on tenants and owners, the shift in rental supply and demand, and legislative changes in some states
“We’re delighted to throw our support behind the initiative that recognises their outstanding efforts and achievements.”
New data showed 63 per cent of all renters in Australia have visited realestate.com.au. Mr Scott said the REA team is focused on creating a rental eco-system which seamlessly connects property managers, tenants and owners.
“We consistently look to add value for our customers and the significant inroads we’ve made when it comes to digitising the rental experience for our property manager customers and their tenants over the last 12 months is incredibly pleasing. And there’s more to come.” Mr Scott said.
