Real houswives star and her NFL player husband list Georgia estate amid divorce

Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann, well-known figures from the Real Housewives of Atlanta and former NFL player, have put their mansion up for sale amid a challenging divorce and financial complications.

The property is located in Milton, a suburb 48km north of Atlanta, and carries a price tag of US$6 million, according to the Robb Report.

It’s a significant increase from its initial offering of US$3.2 million earlier this month and a far cry from the US$880,000 the couple paid for it in 2012.

Reports suggest that the couple is selling the property to stave off impending foreclosure and to help settle their debts.

Kroy Biermann had already filed legal papers requesting permission to sell the house to alleviate financial pressures.

The mansion, built in 2008, sprawls across nearly two acres of gated property with a view of a lake and the 18th hole of The Manor Golf & Country Club.

The two-storey building boasts seven bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and approximately 836sq m of living space.

It comes with eye-catching features such as designer chandeliers and a six-car garage that includes a two-station salon and bath.

Inside, the home offers a mix of luxury and utility.

A grand entry foyer reveals a curved staircase, a wood-panelled study comes with a coffered ceiling and fireplace, while the kitchen is fitted with high-end Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances.

Additional amenities include a home cinema, a 500-bottle wine cellar, a gym, and multiple dedicated entertainment spaces.

Outdoors, the property features a vanishing-edge pool, a sports court, and an in-ground trampoline.

The new owners will also have the option of exclusive membership at The Manor, offering access to dining venues, an 18-hole championship golf course, and swim and tennis facilities.

Zolciak-Biermann, 45, was one of the highest-paid participants on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, earning around $2 million per season.

She also starred in her own reality spin-off, Don’t Be Tardy.

Biermann, 38, played as an outside linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons from 2009 to 2015.
