Starr Partners has opened a new office in North Kellyville to capitalise on growth in Sydney’s Hills District where major residential and commercial precincts developments are going ahead.
The new office was opened by Raj Bhandari, who previously managed the Starr Partners’ Fairfield office.
His team of six will comprise Director and Property Manager Rajwant Kaur, three highly experienced real estate agents, a sales executive and a personal assistant.
Mr Bhandari said the decision to open an office in North Kellyville was motivated by key developments in the suburb and its surrounds.
“Although it’s a relatively new suburb, North Kellyville is a part of the North West Growth Area,” he said.
“This has led it to witness major developmental progress in the areas of public transport, retail precincts, eateries and health facilities over the last five years.”
In May, the Sydney Metro opened a line connecting north west residents to Sydney’s CBD, leading to greater accessibility for residents in the area.
There’s also a council masterplan to transform the neighbouring Rouse Hill Town Centre into a bustling mixed-use district consisting of apartment towers, retail space, and a hospital in the next few years.
“The decision to open an office in this suburb seemed fitting, and we’re excited about the opportunities having an office here will present for us,” Mr Bhandari said.
With the population of Sydney’s Hills District expected to grow by 103,900 people in the next 20 years, it is not surprising that Mr Bhandari has sold more than 50 homes in North Kellyville within the last 12 months.
He also anticipates that he will continue to see an increasing number of young families move to the region.
“As Sydney continues to grow, I believe that traffic congestion, overcrowding and a lack of family time are motivating people to change their living arrangements according to their priorities,” he said.
“For example, I’ve had customers that have moved from inner city suburbs to North Kellyville this year because they want to raise their children in a place that has great parks and an abundance of land. Our suburb’s closeness to shopping centres, public transport and several quality schools is another huge plus for this demographic.”
Starr Partners CEO Douglas Driscoll said having seen Mr Bhandari’s successful sales at their Fairfield office, he believed North Kellyville would be a successful addition to their award-winning group, especially as the property market in Sydney’s north west was likely to continue to thrive.
“I look forward to seeing the strong results that will no doubt be achieved by Raj and his excellent team,” Mr Driscoll said.
The new office is located at 13/21 Hezlett Road, North Kellyville.
