Fresh from leading the Golden State Warriors to a fourth NBA championship, Steph Curry has celebrated by picking up a Florida vacation home.
According to Dirt, the final’s most valuable player and his TV personality/entrepreneur wife Ayesha paid US$2.1 million, which was US$400,000 above the asking price, for the two-storey home on just over a quarter-acre near Orlando.
The property boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms spread across just over 390sq m of recently updated living space.
Inside, one of the standout features of the home is the gourmet kitchen outfitted with an eat-in island, high-end Thermador appliances and a breakfast nook, which connects to a fireside family room.
There’s also a private office space off the foyer, complete with windows overlooking the front lawn and a side courtyard.
All four bedrooms are located on the main level, including an generous master retreat with a fireside sitting area, walk-in closet, and luxe bath and soaking tub.
An additional ensuite bedroom has a living area, wet bar and its own entrance via one of two attached garages accommodating three vehicles.
Although there’s no pool at the property, the grassy grounds are surrounded by PVC fencing, and include a spacious brick terrace ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining, plus a handy outdoor shower.
Curry has accumulated an impressive property portfolio over the years that includes a US$31 million mansion in California’s sought-after Silicon Valley town of Atherton.
