Technology lowering the time and cost for new leads

New website service “Real Simple Property” designed to make it easy for vendors and agents to get together. It enables vendors to lodge a property for sale or rent online and automatically notifies agents in the area so that they can bid for the business. Agent bids include fees, customer ratings and personal trait matching with a shortlist provided to the vendor for comparison.

Registered agents are given access to a sophisticated dashboard, which allows them to manage their bids and monitor their success rates. Vendors can also peruse the bids received on their own secure site and select up to three agents, who then contact them for the final selection process.

Gary Odewahn, Managing Director of Real Simple Property, believes the website will provide a more cost-effective marketing tool for agents than traditional advertising. “With a modest bid fee and a flat rate fee for the shortlisted agents, the lead generation cost is substantially less than advertising in the weekend papers,” Gary says.

Gary believes the site will be good for both vendors and agents, using technology to help shorten the selection process. “The site automatically notifies agents when leads become available. Assuming they can turn around the bids quickly, the whole process from the vendor listing their interest, to the agent writing the business, could be just a matter of days – not months”.
