The confidential survey, completed by team members across The Agency’s 800-strong national business, revealed that 89 per cent of agents and 91 per cent of corporate and property management team members would recommend The Agency as a great place to work.
“This is one of the strongest signals we can receive as a leadership team, knowing that 9 in 10 of our people nationally would actively recommend working at The Agency,” Executive Director, Andrew Jensen said.
“It tells us we’re building a culture that people believe in, and are proud to be part of.”
Engagement scores also sat well above industry benchmarks, with agent engagement at 83 per cent, 12 per cent above the benchmark, and corporate and PM engagement at 79 per cent, 8 per cent above the benchmark.
There was also strong alignment across the business that our people have the information, the autonomy and the knowledge to be successful in their role, with results sitting between 90-95 per cent..
“The intent to engage Culture Amp was always clear,” Mr Jensen said.
“We wanted to invest in this project to benchmark where we’re at as a people business, and understand how we can continue to improve.”
The survey was designed to capture honest feedback from both corporate, PM and agent teams, and explore how The Agency’s culture is being experienced day to day.
“This wasn’t just a box-ticking exercise,” Mr Jensen said.
“We genuinely wanted to understand how our people feel about the business, and where we need to improve to better support them.”
Culture Amp’s benchmarking tool compares results with similar-sized organisations across professional services and real estate sectors.
“Feedback like this is invaluable,” Mr Jensen said.
“It tells us we’re on the right path, and that our people feel proud to be part of our business and support where we’re heading.”
The Agency’s leadership team will now work through the results with staff and agents to identify local focus areas, with a company-wide action plan to follow.
The engagement survey was conducted by Culture Amp in April and May 2025.
