DiJONES and The Humour Foundation are again running the Clown Doctors Christmas Appeal.
DiJONES CEO Rob Ward said the DiJONES team pride themselves on helping those who arenโt able to spend Christmas in their family home, so why not make it that little bit more special and brighten up a child or familyโs day?
โIt was exciting to experience the generosity of the community across Sydney and the Southern Highlands last year, when local residents and businesses dropped off gifts to all of our offices. These presents went to hospitals across Sydney, and were also delivered interstate and to regional hospitals,โ Mr Ward said.
โNo gift is too large or too small, and can help ease the stress and heartache of being in hospital during the festive season.
โGifts for parents, teenagers and younger children will be welcomed at what can be a very emotional time for families.โ
Mr Ward said the Clown Doctors practices are proving to be an effective way to lessen the burden and pain of being unwell and undergoing treatment.
โWe encourage you to make a difference by helping us to help those less fortunate by dropping a gift to any of our office locations. All you need to do is specify the gender and age group โ gift tags and wrapping are available at all DiJONES offices across Sydney and the Southern Highlands.
โAll our offices will be accepting gifts until 12 December 2018. The Humour Foundation will arrange to collect and drop off the gifts before Christmas,โ Mr Ward said.
