Raine & Horne launches eighth North Shore office in Sydney

Raine & Horne has kicked off 2019 with a bang by launching its eighth office on Sydneyโ€™s lucrative North Shore, Raine & Horne Pymble/Gordon.

Experienced North Shore sales agent Wayne Walter will lead the new office.

Mr Walter, who started in real estate in 1994, is a former Real Estate Institute of New South Wales award winner.

A resident of the Upper North Shore, Mr Walter said that he is delighted to have an opportunity to work close to his home.

โ€œI want to be close to my three children who are attending local schools.ย I also want to be able to walk out the front door and be at work.โ€

He added, โ€œOpening Raine & Horne Pymble/Gordon is an opportunity to stamp my style on a real estate office on the Upper North Shore with the backing of a trusted brand.โ€

Mr Walter will service Pymble, Gordon, Killara, Lindfield and Roseville.

A former small business owner who ran a building and scaffolding business with 32 employees before starting in real estate, Mr Walter says his prior corporate experience will prove invaluable to his role as principal of Raine & Horne Pymble/Gordon.

โ€œIn my corporate role, I managed five real estate offices in Sydneyโ€™s Northern Suburbs. I was responsible for profitability, setting budgets, recruitment, management of staff, training and coaching.

โ€œHowever, my core strength is real estate sales. The most enjoyment for me personally is being with my clients and helping them achieve their goals. Itโ€™s usual for my clients to become lifelong friends.

โ€œIโ€™m very confident in my ability to build a business and in the communications skills that I have to deliver quality advice to buyers and sellers.โ€

Looking ahead to 2019, Mr Walter says real estate agencies will have to work hard to service their clients. โ€œSuccessful agencies will offer vendors and landlords candid advice, especially around pricing,โ€ he said.

โ€œWe will deliver exceptional services which will be at the core of my community-based business, but we are finding the market is still very reasonable.

“This region has recorded 89 per cent growth over the last six years and, with so many long-term owners with up to 50 years in this market, short-term market fluctuations don’t affect them as much. Their homes are goldmines.โ€
