The Announcement:
Sydney real estate icon Highland has appointed locally renowned businesswoman Sarah Street as Co-director of Sales and Leadership, as part of its continued strategic expansion into key growth areas across the city.
Mrs Street joins the 150+ strong team at Highland, backed by over 14 yearsโ experience in the banking and finance industry, departing her prior role as head of NSW and ACT Working Capital Services for the Commonwealth Bank.
As a highly respected agent amongst the Sydney community, Mrs Street will step into her role as Co-director of Sales and Leadership working alongside Highlandโs industry veterans to facilitate the continued growth and development of the evolving team.
In the last year alone Mrs Street has been responsible for more than 80 transactions.
โIโm really excited to be joining a local brand with a proven reputation for customer focused servicing, at a time when the company is entering a new phase in its strategic expansion into key destinations,โ said Mrs Street.
โIt was not an easy decision to make the career leap, but I have a huge respect for the comprehensive suite of services Highland Group has built across not just real estate, but full scale financial service offering too โ itโs mind blowing.
โUltimately, it was Highlandโs maturity and professionality in the marketplace that attracted me most as I knew this would be hugely beneficial to my clients and the way in which I can best service them.โ
CEO of the Highland Group, David Highland, says there was no better way to launch into a new year than with the appointment of Mrs Street to the Highland family.
โWe are overjoyed to welcome Sarah into the Highland fold and are excited to witness the company benefit from the influence of such a well-respected and savvy businesswoman in the years ahead,โ said Mr Highland.
โSarah is renowned throughout the industry for her client-focused approach and comprehensive business prowess that aligns flawlessly with Highlandโs own commitment to the customer focused experience.โ
The appointment of Sarah comes in succession to one of the biggest real estate mergers in Sydney in recent memory between reality icons Bill Malouf & David Malouf and David Highland, to deliver Highland Double Bay Malouf.
The partnership will see the continued expansion of the Highland network – one of Sydneyโs leading independent agencies which has achieved more than $2.1 billion in sales in 2021 across 1200 sales transactions, in addition to 1000 leased properties. The company represents more than 50 development groups in Sydney from four pivotal office locations.
