Gavin Staindl and Nicole Miller will realise their long-held plan to open an agency in Officer.
The Announcement:
Gavin Staindl has joined forces with his current boss to set up Ray White’s newest office in the town of Officer.
Located 70km east of Melbourne, Gavin and Nicole Miller have set up the office next door to Nicole’s successful office in Pakenham.
Gavin is currently ranked number one for sales in the Ray White Victoria and Tasmania network and holds market share in the postcode of 3809. Alongside Gavin will be Nicole who has grown Ray White Pakenham from a small-time agency to the most successful real estate business in Pakenham.
Gavin began his real estate career 12 years ago with Ray White and said he’s looking forward to moving into the new office.
“Officer has grown so quickly, it deserves a high profile agency,” he said.
According to Gavin it had been a plan of his and Nicole’s to open a Ray White agency in Officer for over five years.
But with a lack of commercial spaces available in the town Gavin said it had been difficult to find the right space.
However, when the 99-year-old weatherboard home at 426 Princes Highway became available he knew it was the right choice.
“The exposure from an office front facing Princes Highway is huge,” he said.
“But it doesn’t come without a lot of work, as you would expect on any 99-year-old.”
Gavin won’t make any extensions to the historically-protected property but they do expect to spend close to $100,000 restoring life to the weatherboard home.
“It needs a lot of work but we are so close to finishing,” he said.
“I think it will look quite special when it’s done.”
The white weatherboard home with a distinctive yellow door will stand out among Officer’s shop fronts and will become the first major brand to establish themselves in the town.
Gavin will relocate his team of four, all who currently work at Ray White Pakenham, and set up a sales and rental division in Officer.
The yellow door officially opened on October 2 and according to Gavin it’s the perfect time.
“We’re ready to trade in the spring selling season,” he said.
“The market is poised to bounce out of the 18-month slump and with a rapid growth in Officer expected over the next 10 years the town of Officer has never been more ready for a transactional boom.
“Officer is expected to grow by 34,221 in 2040 and we want to ensure that Ray White is there to support that expansion.”
The official launch party will be Friday, October 6 at 4pm and the new office will be open to the public.
“Come say hi. We are a fun bunch to be around and we’d love to see you soon,” Gavin said.
