The Diamond Event celebrated million-dollar-plus agents, congratulating those who earned the real estate network’s Diamond status in 2024, as announced at the annual awards in February this year.
The venue where urban character meets sub-tropic resort vibe was the perfect backdrop for the invitees to hear powerhouse guest speakers, engage with a panel session of high-performing peers, and enjoy the social side of the event.
Joel Davoren, RE/MAX Australia’s Managing Director, opened the day with key messages introducing the theme of personal leadership.
“Throughout the day’s program, there were insights to elevate not only their business but also their mindset,” Mr Davoren said.

Former world champion ultra triathlete, Richard Thompson, Founder and Principal Lawyer at Thompson Legal on the Sunshine Coast shared the valuable lessons learnt and the challenges he faced in becoming one of the best and told, through his unique background spanning elite sports and law, how these experiences were now helping him grow as a leader of both a team and a business.
Second presenter, Avi Khan, Director of AKG Media, has a background in law and commerce and transitioned from major international firms to real estate, swiftly breaking street records and earning top industry awards.ย
He has been a powerhouse in Brisbane real estate for over a decade and his property management business is Australia’s fastest growing.
Sonya Treloar, an elite performing agent and business owner, has risen to become one of Queensland’s most celebrated agents, turning passion and dedication into an extraordinary career.
Mr Davoren welcomed three of the network’s own elite professionals to form a panel – Jacqui Walker, Fraser Evans and Melita Bell.
“These three are top performers of the highest calibre who have achieved remarkable success through dedication, perseverance, and exceptional skill,” he said.
