Raine & Horne Commercial’s market leading Brisbane North office has celebrated its stellar start to 2021 by unveiling its brand new premises at the landmark former site of Ellaways Music Store in Kedron.

The move – to 337 Gympie Road – marks Raine & Horne Brisbane North’s return to its old stomping ground, as Gympie Road was the location of the business’s very first office more than 20 years ago before they expanded to bigger premises in Stafford in 2007.

The fully refurbished premises were officially unveiled by Angus Raine, Executive Chairman of Raine & Horne Group, Trent Bruce, Managing Director, Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane North and Brisbane City Councillor Fiona Hammond at a grand opening on Thursday, May 6.

“It is great to be back on Gympie Road where it all began over 20 years ago,” Mr Bruce said.

“This new office is in a prime position to benefit from huge exposure to passing Gympie Road traffic and is centrally located to provide easy access for clients and customers. It also provides increased efficiency for our agents who have quick access to all suburbs on the north side.”

Many long-term clients attended the opening for a first-hand look at the building’s new modernised façade and exceptional internal fitout, which will be home to the Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane North team members including sales and leasing agents, property managers, marketing and administration executives.

Mr Raine said the Brisbane North team has gone from strength to strength since 1999, with Mr Bruce expanding his business to the point it dominates commercial real estate markets in Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

“The well-appointed, modern office reflects this growth and success and provides fantastic facilities for Trent’s award-winning team,” he said.

Dynamic team shine at 2020 State Raine & Horne Awards in Queensland

In 2021 so far, Mr Bruce and his powerhouse team dominated the commercial award categories at the 2020 State Raine & Horne Awards in Queensland.

The team were awarded the group’s Top Commercial Office ($ value), while star agent Lawrence Temple was recognised in the Top Salesperson (No. Sales Transactions) and Top Salesperson ($ Value) categories.

Mr Bruce and sales and leasing executive colleague Michael Schafferius ranked first in the Top Salesperson (Highest Transaction) category.

Strong business confidence drives market activity

Investment in infrastructure and property has continued to gain momentum, for well-positioned and well-priced assets, Mr Bruce explains, with record low interest rates, government stimulus packages and strong business confidence driving activity in Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

“We are also seeing evidence of business relocations from southern states as interstate migration gathers momentum following extensive lockdowns in those locations,” Mr Bruce said.

In addition to this, Mr Bruce said there has been a marked increase in Sydney and Melbourne investors seeking to invest in the Brisbane market.
