The annual Barry Plant conference, held from July 1-6 in Danang, Vietnam, saw delegates benefit from first class guest speakers, receive relevant and up to date training and exchange ideas.
The annual Leadership Conference provides senior people in the Barry Plan group to strategise ways to revitalise their businesses and take them to the next level of success. The conference was well attended with 125 registrations of delegates, families and valued suppliers.
There was a day and a half of conference session with two guest speakers; Matt Finnis, CEO of the St Kilda Football Club and Ben Collins, Macquarie Bank’s State Head of Residential Real Estate Services. The key message from both these speakers was on how to deal with, and benefit from, disruption and change.
The conference also featured a session with Barry Plant Group Directors, Mr Barry Plant and Mr Vic Care sharing their wealth creation strategies.
A panel of Directors of some of the Group’s best performing offices participated in an interactive session, discussing the tactics that drove their success.
Delegates had the opportunity to undertake a program of team building and, with their families, enjoy social activities including a bike ride through paddy fields, boat trips up the Han river and frequent sampling of the cuisine and culture of Danang and nearby Hoi An.
