In response to Queensland’s infrastructure and development activity and population growth, Belle Property Commercial has launched Belle Property Retail, Brisbane.
Michael Hanscomb, Managing Director of Belle Property Commercial, said Belle Property Retail will be the flagship brand within the Belle Property Commercial group and a key focus for the business.
“With an explosion of online shopping and the arrival of large-scale international retail brands offering attractive pricing, Brisbane and the broader state is facing the most challenging retail leasing market I have witnessed in the course of my career.
“It’s the ideal time for our specialist team to launch into the market to assist,” said Mr Hanscomb said.
Belle Property Retail Brisbane will focus on project leasing, shopping centre leasing and property management divisions, and looks to launching into the CBD and fringe retail leasing market.
“It is a strategic move to open in Queensland initially because we see a market that lacks a first-class specialist retail agency. We plan to fill that gap with the hands-on, high-end, Belle Property approach,” Mr Hanscomb said.
The CBD and fringe leasing division will be led by Mr Hanscomb, while Nick Kelly will lead the Queensland operation on a “holistic level” in addition to a property management service.
The team will also include James Harvey, Paula Kelly and Lachlan Persley.
