Belle Property agents David Wood and Jenny Dwyer have just been announced as co-agents for Ronnie and Georgia’s house on the current season of The Block: Fans vs Faves.
The sales duo will drive the campaign for 2 Bronte Court, Hampton, which is being renovated by veteran ‘faves’ Georgia and Ronnie Caceres, who previously came third on The Block in 2017.
The couple from Perth are looking like strong candidates for this year’s prize, already winning the guest room reveal challenge on Sunday night with a carefully considered coastal vibe design and high attention to detail.
David Wood, Director of Belle Property Albert Park, has appeared on 11 seasons of The Block including auctioning the winning property on three occasions.
For the show’s seventeenth season he is teaming up with Jenny Dwyer, Director of Belle Property Sandringham, who brings three decades of experience and is one of the area’s highest performing agents.
It might be early days, but like with any listing, the duo is already putting their heads together to come up with clever ways to achieve a top-tier outcome for the property.
“It’s great that we get to be involved so early on with the listing,” Ms Dwyer said.
“We look forward to being able to support Ronnie and Georgia with their renovation, by sharing insights on the local market along with the property features and must-haves currently in demand with property hunters.
“Today’s upmarket buyers are demanding quality finishes, combined with logical layouts and top-notch fixtures and fittings. And it’s crucial to get this balance right when renovating, avoiding under or over-capitalising, yet ensuring a perfect finish.”
With this year’s series again taking place under the cloud of lockdown restrictions, Ms Dwyer and Mr Wood are also looking at smart ways to run their marketing campaign.
“Our marketing campaign will feature extensive video, virtual tours and online viewings in the event open for inspections are curtailed,” Ms Dwyer said.
Belle Property Chief Executive Officer Peter Hanscomb said the national real estate group is fully behind Ms Dwyer and Mr Wood’s 2021 Block campaign.
“We are so thrilled that David and Jenny are the co-agents for Ronnie and Georgia’s house,” Mr Hanscomb said.
“Through Belle Property’s premium network of property marketing suppliers, alignment with leading interiors magazine Belle, and lifestyle magazine Sitchu, I’m confident they have access to the best tools in the business to achieve a fantastic result for their clients.
“In addition, Belle Property’s national referral network of 160 offices will enable them to reach a wider group of potential buyers up and down the country.”
With Ms Dwyer and Mr Wood’s hearts set on a win this year, they are in for an exciting few months ahead.
“Our goal is to not only help Ronnie and Georgia make a healthy profit but also to secure an overall win come auction day, and we couldn’t be more excited to be partnering with these two serious contenders for The Block in 2021,” Mr Wood said.
The property listing for 2 Bronte Court, Hampton, Victoria is now live on Domain. It appears more photos will be added as the season progresses, with the only pictures currently displayed being of Ronnie and Georgia’s winning guest bedroom.
The Block airs Sundays at 7PM and Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30PM on Channel Nine.
