With close to 30 years’ experience selling property in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs, veteran Principal Anthony Ward, alongside wife Emma, have joined Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE).
It is the lifestyle brand’s first foray into South Australia, having already established offices in the eastern states of New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria.
With a name already known by millions for tips on food, renovating, travel and DIY, the extension into real estate was too good an opportunity for Anthony and Emma not to embrace.
“Better Homes are Gardens Real Estate is such an iconic brand that Australians know and love. Millions of people are inspired by the TV show and magazine, so pairing this with our real estate expertise really sets us apart from our competition,” said Mr Ward.
Operating as a husband and wife team under the BHGRE Aspire model, Anthony and Emma are a community-minded couple who build professional relationships based on trust, transparency, and open communication.
“We have a strong focus on getting the right campaign for each property,”continued Mr Ward.
“We’ve also developed relationships with local businesses who provide services and products that are frequently sought after by sellers and buyers.”
What attracted Emma to Better Homes are Gardens Real Estate was the desire to bring something bigger and better to Adelaide’s property market.
“Sharing a name with one of the most prominent and trusted consumer brands relating to the home is so exciting; a marriage of a fantastic lifestyle brand and real estate,” Mrs Ward stated.
“And the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate corporate team have been fantastic to deal with. They have been extremely helpful in setting us up and we are really pleased to be part of what seems to be a close-knit group”.
BHGRE CEO Michelle Delaney had much praise for Anthony and Emma and was pleased to have such experienced operators as the first representatives in South Australia.
“I am delighted to expand the BHGRE footprint to yet another state, but more so to have such a wonderful couple represent our brand.
“The expertise and community standing that Anthony and Emma bring is a perfect fit with our brand and I couldn’t have asked for anyone more suitable to lead our entry in Adelaide,” Ms Delaney said.
“We launched Aspire to meet the needs of real estate agents who want to operate remotely and for themselves. And unlike other similar models in the market, we have a consumer facing brand that is a major differentiation,” continued Ms Delaney.
Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate offers both an office shopfront and mobile agent model to enable real estate professionals to embark on exciting career pathways.
The introduction of Aspire provides the opportunity for sales agents to run their own business with the full technology, training and marketing support of a global franchise and one of the best-known brands in the country.
