Less than three years after signing on the dotted line for an almost $7 million estate, Big Bang Theory star, Simon Helberg has reportedly paid almost $8.4 million for a gated estate in Pasadena.
According to reports, the 41 year old and his wife Jocelyn Town purchased the 116-year-old gated estate, on the fringes of California’s San Gabriel Valley, which includes a 23-room main house with three floors, pool house, and 1,200-square-foot garage building with four car stalls, attic and workshop.
The listing – held by Rita Whitney of The Agency – described the 7200 square foot mansion as an English Tudor Revival, designed by renowned architect Frederick L. Roehrig.
According to the listing,  the house includes an elevator that services the mansion’s three full floors, including a vast finished basement level.
Other features include a media room, temperature controlled wine room, and stunning al fresco dining area.
The seller was reportedly foodservice businessman Jim Dal Pazzo, who bought the property in 2015 for $4.5 million, with Elisa Ritt of Compass representing the buyer.
Helberg will share the neighbourhoods with A-listers including Meryl Streep, Oscar De La Hoya, Kristen Wiig, and Shia LaBeouf.
