After a highly successful tenure as independent real estate agents, Bonny Hills locals Jon and Sharon Slater have joined the Professionals network.
Professionals Ocean Drive is set to become synonymous with the respected Slater name, which has been involved in the local property market for more than a decade.
“As independents, we’ve achieved a lot over the past eight years, but the market is changing and we want to ensure we can give our clients the very best exposure possible when selling their properties,” Mr Slater said.
“One of the major benefits of joining a national network is we can draw on a bigger buyer pool and we’re already starting to see that coming through.
“Markets are constantly changing, so joining the Professionals family will ensure that our clients have the best tools available to get a premium result for their property.”
The coastal markets of Bonny Hills and Lake Cathie have been identified as among the fastest-growing areas in the Hastings local government area.
Mr Slater said more than half of buyers are new to the region, mainly hailing from Sydney, Canberra and the Central Coast.
“There’s a big pocket of buyers coming from outside the local area, but we’re also still very popular with locals who are downsizing or moving for work or lifestyle reasons.
“Bonny Hills might not be highly populated, but the beachfront location and the village feel is what makes it such a desirable place to live and such a dynamic market.”
Jon and Sharon Slater are strong supporters of the local community and have built their business by maintaining strong connections throughout the region.
The couple even operate the Bonny Hills Post Office adjacent to Professionals Ocean Drive, which is located on the corner of Ocean Drive and Bartlett Street.
“We’re very much focused on the local community, and that’s never going to change because the community is what makes this place so special,” said Mr Slater.
