Buxton real estate group is continuing its growth in Victoria, announcing the appointment of Amanda Henry to its corporate team.
Boasting a real estate pedigree and a career that spans 13 years, Ms Henry has joined the Buxton senior leadership team, in the role of Head of Operations – focusing on key areas including culture, marketing, technology, innovation, and training.
Buxton CEO Nathan Jones said Ms Henry’s appointment was a huge win for the network and one that would lead to exponential long-term growth internally, as well as benefits for clients.
“We are constantly evaluating talent and one of the reasons Amanda was at the top of our target list was her ability to positively influence culture through communication, energy and technology. This attribute is one we place significant value on and are so glad we could bring her into the fold,” Mr Jones said.
“Amanda is highly regarded in the industry for her expertise in streamlining communications and building a robust culture that paves the way for success agency-wide.
“To reach where we want to as a company, we knew that we needed to have her on board and creating this role was part of that strategy.
“Despite everything that is currently going on in the world and the impact that is having on the wider industry, her short time at Buxton has already seen significant improvements in our day-to-day operations.
“We cannot wait to see how the company progresses in the months and years to come.”
Expressing her admiration for the Buxton brand, Ms Henry has her sights set on further cementing the network as leaders, evolving and building internal infrastructure to ensure success.
“In the short term, I am focusing on expanding my intrinsic knowledge of the company, building relationships and working on those smaller efficiencies that need to be tackled,” Ms Henry said.
“However, the long-term vision we have set is to make Buxton the most recognisable, culture-first real estate business in Australia.
“Our attention is focused on communication, web and social media, building on the expansive digital ecosystem already in place, future proofing both our operations and overall agent experience network-wide.”
Taking this leap of faith during a time of uncertainty, Ms Henry said that although the circumstances made it a risky move, it was an opportunity that was too good to pass on.
“Roles like this don’t come around too often and I was impressed with what Buxton had to offer.
“I spent 12 years at my previous company so it was important I stepped out of my comfort zone to achieve not only my personal goals but help Buxton reach theirs.”
